Though based entirely on Matt's WWWBoard, unlike the board that you are used to, this board employs security text, such as you have likely seen on a number of other websites, in an attempt to reduce spam within the forum. When posting a message you must submit all of the usual information (Subject, Message, Name), but now you must also enter the seven character long text string which appears into the "Security Text" box. In theory, this will prevent automated posting procedures, eliminating a lot of the junk which appears on this board on a regular basis. Of course, this is still in the testing phase, there may be bugs, and it may not be as effective as I am hoping, but I do hope that it is a step in the right direction.
